In this video, we are removing a chimney from a house and Daniel is hard at work. This is something you have to be very careful with as you don’t want to destroy anything. You should have drop sheets to drape all of the furniture, and drop sheet all the way around.
It’s great to have a vacuum to get some of the dust in the air out. When it’s done right, you do not cause any damage.
The chimney you see in the video is a double-sided chimney and we already took out the top, in through the roof. You can see the hole in the roof; out through the ceiling, and it goes right up through the attic of the house and it goes right to the outside. I leave the hole in the roof open so that some of the dust will go out the top.
When you take a chimney down inside it should be done by a professional or too much damage will be created.
